Judy Cuppy of Senior Home Companions is passionate about helping seniors. She brought a new concept to helping the elderly cope with aging issues, without giving up their independence or their homes. This is precisely the purpose for which Senior Home Companions was created in 1992.
Their carefully screened and trained caregiver, "For Seniors by Active Seniors," can provide companionship and professional care during the hours when family members are away. Services are available on either an hourly or live-in basis. These services include light housekeeping, meal planning, preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, transportation, medication reminders and bathing. Often, these services are all that is needed to keep seniors in their own homes.
Judy moved to Sarasota in 1991 after having run a poor relief program in Indiana and working as Recruiting Coordinator in the office of Career Planning and Placement for Valparaiso University. Judy is a member of the Sarasota County Senior Advisory Council, Sarasota Women’s Alliance, International Women’s Forum, Florida Suncoast Chapter and PEO.
